Rose Water

Rose water is created by distilling rose petals with steam. It is used for thousands of years as skin soothing and relaxing agent

This natural ingredient is very well liked by all skin types. Rose water pH of 5.5 sits at natural balance with skin pH of 4.5 to 5.5

Radish root ferment filtrate

Its used as a perservative against bacterial and fungal microbial growth in skincare products and is considered safe within <1% concentration. Its very safe and is also found in Kimchi (korean edible)

It is a natural occuring plant based perservative.

L-Ascorbic Acid - The purest, efficacious and only thoroughly researched form of vitamin C that is absorbed directly by the skin

Neutralizes free radicals to help combat the signs of aging, acts as a stimulant to accelerate collagen production, and prohibits melanin production to brighten and even skin tone

Effective at a pH of 2.0 to 3.5

Closer to 2.0 its more acidic and irritating to the skin which can make the skin more sensitive, so find a  find a serum with pH from 3 to 3.5. Anything over 3.5 or below 3.0 should be avoided as efficacy drops over 3.5 and inflammation increases below 3.0

Alpha-Arbutin - A safe, naturally occurring skin brightener

It removes uneven skin tone and dark spots by inhibiting tyrosinase and thus preventing the formation of melanin- responsible for dark spots.

It is a safe skin brightener, and works best at 2% concentration in skincare products. Effective at pH of around 5.0
